Rethinking Reentry Grief and Loss Services for Incarcerated Women
Incarcerated women leave prison with the same unmet needs that placed them at high-risk for recidivism (Scroggins & Malley; 2010). Without appropriate comprehensive services transitioning back into society is difficult.
Additional programs and services including the implementation of grief and loss groups (Anderson et al., 2015; Ferszt, et al., 2009) are needed to decrease recidivism.
